Christie joined Ashurst in 2010 and has worked in a number of capacities including legal project management, strategic business change and R&D. She has a Masters degree in Project Management from Newcastle Business School and is qualified as a project manager with the Association for Project Management Professionals.
Her experience includes setting up and running one of the City’s first legal project management capabilities within Ashurst’s Finance practice, as well as leading the implementation of the firm’s global strategy. In her current role as Research & Development for Ashurst Advance Christie is responsible for conducting market research into competitor behaviours and monitoring current and future legal trends. She is also responsible for capturing, evaluating and deploying a wide range of innovations and change initiatives across all areas of client services, human resources and leadership, knowledge management, alternative legal service models, new ventures, and digital technology solutions including artificial intelligence.
